Jessica Biernier

Jessica Biernier focuses on prosecuting complex cases involving products liability, negligence, catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death.

Previously handling the product liability aspects of asbestos litigation for a large plaintiffs’ firm in San Francisco, Ms. Biernier primarily represented union trade workers and military service members injured as a result of their occupational exposure to asbestos. She gained tremendous trial experience while working to obtain multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for injured workers and their families.

In addition to her practice, Ms. Biernier has donated countless pro-bono hours providing legal services in family law, housing law and criminal law. She is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco, Queen’s Bench and San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.

Ms. Biernier received her law degree in 2005 from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she was a member of the honors program and the moot court board. She received awards for academic excellence in writing and research and advocacy. In addition, Ms. Biernier worked at the Tenderloin Housing Clinic, representing low-income, San Francisco tenants in all aspects of landlord-tenant and housing law.

Prior to law school, Ms. Biernier attended California State University at Chico, where she volunteered at a nonprofit legal clinic and worked full time to put herself through school. She graduated with honors with a degree in Political Science.

Ms. Biernier is admitted to practice before California state courts and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. She was born in San Francisco and grew up in Marin County.
